I would say that the food at the Rawls is awesome... I have been for lunch several times and for dinner once. The chef knows what he is doing let me tell you. You will have to give it a try for yourself. There is a BLT sandwich that is mmmm good!

Becky Hancock Realty had a wonderful time providing pom poms and hot dogs to the community... it was alot of fun giving to the fans... then to go to the game and see all of the pom poms shaking through out the stadium. Enterprise High School had their first football game of the year on their new field at their newly built HIgh School. My son is a Senior there this year and he loves it.

Can you beleive the weather this year...
it has been rainy, cold, SNOWING crazy! Try to have an open house and hope that people will show up... this was in Feb... the kids were soo excited ! my little one has been praying for snow since he loved playing in it in AK!

There are going to be a group of us putting on an OPEN HOUSE in Valley Chase on Sunday November 16, 2008 from 11-5. If you do not know how to get to the subdivision then let me tell you... Drive down Shellfield Road from Lowes and turn right on Hickory Bend and then turn Left on Windsor Way and then Right on Valley Stream down on your right you will see the entrance to the subdivision. We will have a tent with some goodies and hot beverages for you to enjoy.. of course we can take you in our homes for sale or any of the homes that are for sale there. These homes are either garden homes (1450-1600) sq ft or a bit larger on the outer edge of the subdivisions street. There are so many builders building in this subdivision that you are SURE to find something that suits your needs.. There are some that are done being built, half way to being done or just beginning. I am glad to be posting again.. Enterprise Alabama has been a busy place to be.. We had our ARPAC party last night and Becky Hancock Realty was sure representing at the party.. there were alot of folks there that were dressed up really cool!! Even Realtors from Dothan came to the party. Becky Hancock had an awesome cake made and donated it for the silent auction. wow 2008 is here....
what happened... nov was the last posting...
what has happened... well we were in the parade in town Enterprise AL that is!! We had a busy holiday season. Sold a few houses and helped a few get into rentals. Traveled...went to Louisville KY that was a good family trip. The office was given a bonus for selling a certain amount of sides.. so I took my family on a trip to Ky to see some really good friends that we knew from Alaska!! My family puts up with alot having to do with my job so I thought that would be a great trip!! Now the new year is here and we are going to have a great year!! keep watch and you will see things happen around here... do not forget to go check out our website for new listings on houses and land in Enterprise or Ozark or Daleville Alabama

Howdy people...
Sure do miss Enterprise Alabama... people are just not that friendly here. I know I was raised here but sure can tell a difference.. the real estate is different here also.. We are able to buy a house in Entperprise alot lower than here. Sure do count my blessings.. I am getting ready to go to my first of three events for my reunion.. should be fun. Got to see my family the last couple of days and that was great. My phone has slowed up on ringing..had to make a few phone calls today to make sure I was still in the loop in the Wiregrass area... HEE HEE.

I am on my way to California to my 20 year high school reunion...wahoo that sounds like a long time ago... should be a fun filled weekend for me and Don (my husband LOL). Get to see friends and family that have not seen me (us) in a long time. Hoping it is going to be so much fun... But of course will miss Enterprise Alabama and the real estate world here!! Pumpkin Pie Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

1-2/3 cups cooked pumpkin puree (or 15-ounce can)
1-1/2 cups (12-ounce can) evaporated milk (not condensed milk)
1 cup white granulated sugar
2 eggs, at room temperature
1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1-1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 package yellow or butter cake mix
1 cup raisins, pre-soaked in hot water for 15 minutes (optional)
Cream Cheese Frosting:
8 ounces (1 large block) cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup powdered confectioners' sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp milk or cream
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with non-stick foil. In a large bowl, beat pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined. Toss raisins in cake mix, then add both to the wet ingredients. Stir only until combined. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool to room temperature. Cream Cheese Frosting:Blend cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract extract, and milk until smooth. Frost cooled cake. Sprinkle optional pecans evenly on top. Yield: 24 to 36 servings, depending on cut size
